Mediation is a form of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) that is an outstanding alternative to our overburdened courts.  Mediation, whether it be voluntary or mandatory, allows parties to present arguments in a less intimidating, non-threatening atmosphere that fosters better relations between parties.  Compared to judicial proceedings, this method is a cost effective means that allows parties more flexibility in negotiating and developing the most appropriate resolution for all involved.

Arbitration is a beneficial alternative to judicial hearings that allow parties a binding, but slightly more flexible, and expeditious forum to bring their dispute to a resolution. Like judicial proceedings, parties provide testimony and present evidence in support of their argument while an arbitrator, or panel of arbitrators, selected by all parties, usually with extensive experience and familiarity with the topic in dispute, preside over the proceedings and render a legally binding decision.
